Wednesday, August 7, 2019 – In celebration of their annual employee canoe race event, Disneyland Resort invited Anaheim Beautiful to be the recipient of a $2,500 donation for the work we do in the community. What a nice surprise to start us off on our program year which begins in September. Anaheim Beautiful President Sandra Sagert, Board Members Art and Kandee Beas and Crystal Ramirez, Miss Anaheim Beautiful, attended the very early morning event to watch the races and receive the donation check.

This is a much loved event for the employees of Disney Resort and today’s finals event was the culmination of a series of preliminary races to determine the winning team in each division. Disney Resort invited Anaheim Beautiful to attend as the recipient of this donation on behalf of the Disneyland Resort Canoe Races.
