Congratulations to our board member Lori Dinwiddie and her husband Jim who were recognized at the Cypress College Foundation’s Americana Awards as Citizens of the Year for Anaheim. The honor was given to the Dinwiddie’s for the countless number of hours they have given to our community in so many ways. The pair has been active over the years in PTSA, booster clubs, Anaheim Sister City, Anaheim Flag Day, the Nutcracker Tree Lighting event just to name a few of their volunteer activities. Probably most rewarding is their transformation to Mr. and Mrs. Claus during the holiday season where they listen to the wishes of more than 1000 children bringing joy during the holiday season. Lori serves as Anaheim Beautiful’s Campus Beautiful Program Director and Jim is always on hand to help with special events and Anaheim Beautiful projects. We are so fortunate to have them in our community and very proud of this honor which is so well deserved.
