Another successful cleanup event happened on Saturday thanks to the partnership between Anaheim Beautiful, the Anaheim Rotary Club, Superior Inc. and the City of Anaheim along with a hardworking group of volunteers. The Balsam Curtis Neighborhood, adopted by the Anaheim Rotary Club in 2009, benefited from its third cleanup effort in the past two years. Volunteers from the Rotary Club, Voit Real Estate, the Magnolia JROTC program, the Church of the Latter Day Saints and a host of others, including residents from the area, cleaned up trash and debris from the recent winds and painted over graffiti that had appeared since the last cleanup event in October. Several young residents gathered up paint buckets and rollers and joined with Anaheim Beautiful business member, Superior Inc., to help. Representatives from the City of Anaheim Community Policing Team, Code Enforcement and Neighborhood Services were on hand to help and pass out information on community services available to the residents. Thank you to Rotarian and Anaheim Beautiful member Steve Rosco for all his work to coordinate the event. It was a good day! Check out the Adopt-A-Neighborhood Gallery to see more photos.
