A group of women who were childhood friends of Shelley LoRusso chose the Margie Hilgenfeld Tree Memorial Program to pay tribute to their friend’s daughter Olivia Hope LoRusso who passed away from leukemia recently at the age of 12. In order to show their love and support for Olivia, the women planted a beautiful Samuel Sommer Southern Magnolia tree at Roosevelt Park in Anaheim Hills. It will be a place where the LoRusso family, who now lives in New York, can visit when they are in Anaheim as well as a local memorial for those friends and family from Shelley’s childhood community. The tree was planted on a spectacularly beautiful day with a ceremony attended by Shelley’s friends. Olivia’s Story.
