Adopt-a-Neighborhood

Launched in 2009, the Adopt-A-Neighborhood program involves a two-year commitment between a local organization and a city neighborhood. A champion of this worthwhileeffort, is the Anaheim Rotary Club who was the first community group to take on this challenge and continues to lead the charge with their adoption of the Balsam-Curtis neighborhood. Anaheim Beautiful is always on the lookout for other organizations to take on the tasks in other areas throughout the city.  For information, please email: contact@anaheimbeautiful.org.

Our Adopt-A-Neighborhood program involves a large group of volunteers who gather to work together. It is now on hold due to concerns regarding COVID-19. Be assured that this program will resume once gathering together is deemed safe for all involved.

The latest cleanup took place on Saturday, November 2, 2019 and involved a large group of volunteers including members of Anaheim Rotary, the Magnolia High School Interact Club and Anaheim Beautiful business member Superior Services. Representatives from several City of Anaheim Departments, including Code Enforcement, the Police Department and Neighborhood Services were also on hand for the event. Individual volunteers from Savannah High School and local residents also joined in the effort, along with District 5 Council member Stephen Faessel. In just a few hours, this group made quite a positive impact on the area by cleaning up litter, debris and graffiti.
